Different Places Different Wines

Who doesn’t love to have wine? every place you go, you have so many options that it can be a bit overwhelming to choose what wine you will actually have. So let us make it easier by listing out the popular wines at different places.

             French Wine

There are many different wine producing regions in France. To name a few, we have Alsace, Bordeaux and Bourgogne. Wines are mostly popular here by regions; no single wine is popular throughout the country. Like the region of Alsace mostly dry or fruity white wines are produced, the most popular being Riesling, Sylvaner and the very fruity Gewurztraminer. Whereas, the Bordeaux area operates classifications of many of its top wines, notably those from the Médoc and Saint Emilion vineyards.

            Italian Wine

There are more than 2000 varieties of native grapes in Italy. It not only exports wine more than any other country, but it also has a huge variety. So it can be difficult to choose. From the town Barbaresco, we have the wine from Fontanabianca vineyards called Sori Burdin. It ranks at the top in this region. Aged primarily in new oak, this is quite stylish with powerful fruit and fine structure.

       Spanish Wine

Spain is the third highest wine producer after France and Italy. The most famous wines in Spain come from the region Rioja. Some wines from Rioja are Marqués de Riscal, Ysios, Ramón Bilbao, Torre Muga, etc. These are easily available in most of the places in Spain. Wines from Ribera del Duero are noted for the red wines made with Tempranillo grape.

        Australian Wine
Penfolds Grange is Australia’s most famous wine. Unlike most expensive wines from the World, which are from single vineyards or even small plots (called blocks) within vineyards, Grange is made from grapes harvested over a wide area. Wolf Blass, established in 1966, is a leading winemaker of the Foster’s group.

South African Wine

South African wine industry is not as popular as the French, Italian or Spanish. However, it produces 1.5% of the wine in the world. If you are there there are a few popular wines. One of them is the Sadie Family Columella. it is a red wine made from seven vineyards this is a blend of Syrah and Mourvèdre from a range of soil types. The intense, dark, smooth spicy nose has sweet, seamless pure fruit and lovely balance and complexity. Sadie Family Palladius is the popular white wine.
